After experiencing a severe case of bell's palsy in 2007, I was left with the best side of my experience droopy, my eye and forehead was left with no muscle tone in any way. My vision was nearly shut and watered all the time, and my mouth was left loose, using one aspect, causing me to dribble when I ate or drank such a thing. After receiving therapy in Australia from neurologists and loads of different authorities, which included Botox needles and weeks to be on ste-roids and morphine due to the discomfort and weeks in and out of hospital, I became housebound and very depressed and began to seek guidance from Plastic Surgeons here in Australia. Anxious to become restored to my old home, the only alternatives I was informed was to have a face lift and the fee could be anywhere from $15,000 to a huge $25,000 without any guarantees.

Understanding how poor I was experiencing, my husband observed an article in the Sunday magazine that publicized Plastic Surgery in Thailand using a saving of up to 702-327.

That call actually changed my life.

Two weeks later I boarded my flight for Thailand, I had to make the journey on my own, because we have three young children and it absolutely was term time. I was frightened to death, not because of-the surgery, but because I was travelling alone to a strange state. After a few 9 hour trip, I came into a bustling, loud airport, finally got through customs and there right facing me was a table declaring Mrs. Fraser, wow exactly what a relief, I was taken fully to a waiting limo, and whisked out into the hustle and bustle of Thailand, motorbikes everywhere, sometime 3 or 4 people on a motorbike, people on motorbikes with infants, people on motorbikes with chickens, people on motorbikes with umbrellas up, shielding them from sunlight.

I fell in deep love with Thailand there and then, the people are kind, so tranquil and so wonderful, the tradition is so different from whatever I had ever experienced before.

I'd a lengthy session with one of many surgeons, and was so fascinated by how thoughtful he was, he explained what could be done to fix my challenge, he explained what he did not feel could be amended, he did sketches of precisely how the surgery would be performed, explained in great detail the aftercare expected and said the fee, which was far far significantly less than anything I'd been cited by surgeons here. He also explained that the hospital car would pick me up from the airport on arrival, get me to my resort, and all my moves to and from the hospital were included. Following the physician gave me his telephone number and current email address and told me to make contact with him at anytime if I'd any questions I would prefer to ask.

I stayed for two days, because I was travelling by myself, then I was taken back again to my resort, with my ointments and medications, I spent the next 10 days between the wonderful restaurants, the markets and the beach. Everyday some one in the hospital checked on me and asked basically needed anything. My driver picked me up at 8am and took me straight back for the last time-to see the doctor for my stitches out, on my last time. After being given the all clear, and ultimately experiencing the newest o-r old me back again, I was taken back to my hotel for a few hours, sleep and packaging.

Following a short rest and some beautiful spanish food at one of the several beachside cafes, my driver picked me up and drove me to a healthcare facility where I was approached by the most wonderful and immaculately dressed nurses. Within seconds I was reacquainted with the charming indian men that I had met in Australia.

After returning to my hotel, absolutely broken from my interesting trip, I slept like a child until the next day. Positive as his term, my driver was there 8am on-the dot. I had a window overlooking the city, a deck, plasma tv, ensuite, phone, net, beautiful welcome container and all the luxuries of house and I was waited on-hand and foot by a flow of beautiful nurses.

The nursing staff were wonderful. When I awoke I was in my own place, with the medical practitioner and two nurses, looking after my every need. I decided my supper from a selection that could beat any restaurant, then I slept on and off between nurses to arrive and out through the entire evening doing their obs that night.

I came across that 3 doctors from one of Thailands leading hospitals were offering free consultations and visiting Australia, and answering questions. I went along to the assembly unsure of what I would definitely find, and met three of the most loving, caring, warm and pleasant british guys. They spoke good English, showed me a dvd of the hospital, the services and also things to expect as a tourist visiting Thailand.

I left that ending up in a feeling of pleasure and good hope that I'd found the proper doctor, some body that listened to me and comprehended my desires.

Eventually I would definitely get my old face right back, I couldn't wait.

Quite sad that my voyage had come to a finish, I'd fallen in love with Thailand and it is lovely people, sometime I would come back with my children and share in the miracles of Thailand. More information: aesthetic plastic surgery.
