Cindee Rella

Hello everyone! My name is Tonya aka "Cindee Rella". I am from Nashville. Until a couple of years ago I didn't even know what "Burning Man" was. So I am pretty new to the scene. In fact, this is my first voyage to burning man. I feel very fortunate to be a part of KK camp. The energy and passion you guys have is contagious. On a deeper level, finding KK , was an esoteric sign to me that I must go to burning man this year. Almost backed out in June. But couldn't stand the thought of not going to see what it was about and to escape the "default" world a bit especially with the BM theme bieng "Rites of Passage" this year. And a huge nudge from Josh and Cody! Thank you! and Thank you KK!

I am a hairstylist for over 20 years now with experience in photo shoots, local fashion shows and runway (usually for a charity), editorial, platform work, weddings, etc. I mostly do the normal and trendy hairstyles in the salon but am looking forward to bringing a few tricks and treats with me to create some really fun hair on the Playa. Feel free to let me know if that would interest any of you or there are any needs we might have for that. Green/Purple hair for the day? Maybe a shiny pink extension to be worn on the Playa and kept as a token for memories of KKBM11?

As much as I love doing hair I equally love camping. Recently, I rented out my home and camped by myself for 9 months in a 30 foot travel trailer (with no slide) through seven snow storms, four tornadoes, and countless thunderstorms. Well, I say by myself, but my little kitty, Sophie, was there to brave it all with me. It was the roughest winter on record in my lifetime. Kinda ironic, but still a bit funny at the same time. Let's just say my camping skills and my ability to improvise were stepped up a notch this past fall, winter, and spring. Although, I do have some funny and crazy stories if any of you need a laugh or two.

But I love to have fun, dance, and love house music, trance, drum and bass, progressive, and dub. Other interests include: hiking, rafting, crafting, cooking, and biking.
